| Why does God call Himself the Beginning and the End if He never ends? |

Sometimes when a Bible verse seems confusing it helps to look up other verses to understand it better. Yes, in Revelation 22:13 God says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Rev. 22:13).
If you read that verse by itself you might think it means God will end someday-- that He will die or simply stop existing. But we know better because many other verses in Scripture say God will never end. Here are a few you can look up:
Psalm 90:2 1 Timothy 1:17 Jeremiah 10:10
So what does it mean that God is the Beginning and the End? In Psalm 46:10 God says, "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come" (Ps. 46:10). He also says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega... who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty" (Rev. 1:8).
The Bible teaches that all time and all life begins and ends with God. God has no beginning and no end but He decided when this universe would begin. And it's up to Him when time as we know it on Earth will end. God controls when we are born and when we die.
Remember, if you are a child of God the real you inside will live forever with Him! Your joy in Heaven will never end because He never ends (Rev. 21:6)!
