God knew about the sin in your life and mine. He knew that we could do nothing to take it away. God loves us so much that He sent His only Son into the world to solve the problem of our sin.

The Lord Jesus, God’s Son, was born as a baby. He grew up like you and me; but He had no sin in His life. He was perfect.

He gave Himself to die on a cross. He took the punishment we deserve. The Bible says, “Christ died for our sins” (1 Corinthians 15:3). The red reminds us of His blood which poured out for our sins.

After three days the Lord Jesus came back to life. He is alive today and for ever.
